Abstract
Contrast invariant recognition for multiobject scenes by means of a high-pass filter (HPF) combined with a phase only filter (POF) or a classical matched filter (CMF) is theoretical and numerically analysed. Objects with two kinds of contrast variations connected with the background level and signal amplitude are considered.
