Abstract
The sensitometric, resolvometric and dynamic characteristics of the spatial light modulators (LSM) with MDS-liquid crystal structure were investigated in the wavelength range from 0.4 to 1.5 micrometers at applied voltage frequencies f equals 103 to 105 Hz. The CdTe and GaAs(Cr) single crystal plates with thicknesses l equals 10 to 500 micrometers served as photoreceptors. The writing light modulation (with contrasts up to 100:1) was realized due to hybrid-effect in the nematic LC layers with the thicknesses 5 to 20 micrometers .
