Abstract
In this paper, the example of simplex low-rate acousto-optical fiber link is considered. The method of data transmission by acousto-optical fiber link is examined. The model of data transmission based on this method is deacribed and the simulation results of data transmission on acousto-optical fiber link are presented. The estimations of bit errors obtained from the simulation have demonstrated the potential possibilities for data transmission based on the considered method of design of acousto-optical fiber link.
