Abstract
This paper classified jujube in southern Xinjiang from two bands of polarization near infrared hyperspectrum and polarization visible light, both of which could achieve good classification effect. The total classification accuracy of polarization hyperspectrum was 95.85%, Kappa coefficient was 91.64%, the total classification accuracy of polarized vis ible light was 99.32%, Kappa coefficient was 98.91%.Polarization can not only classify the jujube in southern Xinjiang well, its linear polarization degree can describe the outline of the jujube in southern Xinjiang well, and its polarization ph ase Angle can describe the texture characteristics of the jujube well, which has advantages that other classifications do n ot have. More refined classifications are possible.
