Abstract
On the shock absorber mechanical test-bed, the static and dynamic characteristics of the anti-hunting shock absorber of a EMU are tested, and the static characteristics of the shock absorber and the dynamic stiffness and damping characteristics under different excitation amplitudes and excitation frequencies are obtained. At the same time, the effects of different temperatures on the static and dynamic performance of anti-hunting shock absorber are analyzed. The analysis results show that the ambient temperature has little effect on the static characteristics of the anti-hunting damper, but has a great effect on the dynamic characteristics. Therefore, certain measures must be taken for the anti-hunting shock absorber serving in cold or hot areas, such as selecting oil whose viscosity is less affected by temperature, or installing anti-hunting shock absorber with temperature compensation, so as to reduce its impact on vehicle stability.
