Abstract
Data cleaning which refers to all kinds of activities to detect and repair errors in the data, is one of the most important problems in data management. This paper proposes a multi-rule data cleaning tool that combines multiple dependencies for error detection and error repair. As an example, Conditional Functional Dependencies (CFDs) and Related Dependencies (RDs) are combined in experiments to detect violations and repair erroneous records in data, which shows the validity of multi-rule method.
