Abstract
In order to understand the development status of China's competitive gymnastics, this paper uses CiteSpace software to visualize the Chinese core journals from 1998 to 2021 in the core collection database. The results show that: (1) the number of core articles of competitive gymnastics research is significantly lower than before, and the year with the largest number of articles is 2004; (2) The author collaboration network lacks vertical and horizontal connections, and the core authors are Xiaowen Yao, Hua Han and Xianlin Meng et al; (3) Highly cited references were all from the most authoritative sports journals in China; (4) The research focus is mainly focused on the competitive sports, competitive strength, male and female and action analysis of competitive gymnastics; (5) It is predicted that the research hotspots in the future may be war preparation strategy, strengthening weak points and developing governance.
