Abstract
In an intelligent completion system, the surface control part not only needs to provide power to the downhole equipment, but also needs to communicate with the downhole equipment. In this paper, a power line carrier communication system based on intelligent well completion is designed. In this system, the surface controller uses a single-core cable to transmit surface commands to the downhole by coupling them to the single-core cable, and the downhole equipment then couples ground commands from the single-core cable, which realizes communication with the downhole equipment and provides power to the downhole equipment to meet the power supply and communication requirements of the complex downhole situation.
