Abstract
To solve the problem that the data volume of the monitoring video is large, and the bandwidth requirement for the transmission of this data is high, an adaptive-rate block compressive sensing scheme is proposed in this paper. The sparsity of image blocks in the target video frame is estimated firstly by observing the initial measurements with a fixed low sampling rate, and then the number of measurements can be determined for the current block based on the estimation result, the supplementary measurement is performed to obtain the final sampling results. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively improve the quality of the reconstructed video without significantly increasing the computational complexity.
