Abstract
The conversion from the source protocol to the target protocol is achieved by mapping the header of the source protocol to the header of the target protocol. A single conversion process from the source protocol to the target protocol is referred to as a session. In a heterogeneous protocol conversion system, there are complex mapping relationships between different source and target protocols. To address the complexities of mapping relationships between heterogeneous protocols and the difficulties in session management, a session management system for heterogeneous protocol conversion was designed and implemented. Experiments show that the designed session management system can establish a protocol mapping rule table and extract the protocol mapping rules corresponding to the current session. This management system achieves efficient and flexible session management, providing support for protocol conversion.
