Abstract
A new X-ray tube unit with a super smooth-surface anode and a built-in waveguide collimator is proposed. The unit makes it possible to obtain narrow-collimated beams of X-ray radiation with a line microfocus. Calculation procedure and experimental results for the glancing angle X—ray fluorescence are presented. Keywords: X—ray tubes, X—ray waveguides, X—ray fluorescence
