Abstract
This paper introduces a combinatoric approach in digital geometry. This mathematical tool allows to establish a connection between algebra and geometry in digital geometry. Some development in hypergraphs, matroid and antimatroid are presented. Such concepts provide a sound mathematical basis for digital geometry objects such as graphs, convexity and algebra. Some applications in image processing are included in this paper.
