Abstract
Extensive analyses have been conducted to find ways to improve upon the identification (ID) performance of a quadratic classifier. The analyses involved applying several different processing techniques to the discriminants of the classifier with the result being, in some cases, significant increases in the ID performance of the classifier. The result of these analyses provide some clear indications of the degree and nature of improved performance that can be obtained with these techniques taken individually and in combination.
