Adaptive signal processing as a new subject, is widely used to telecommunication, radar, industrial control, earthquake detection , biomedicine and electronics field,etc.. In recent years, the great progress has been made in the theory, method and application of adaptive signal processing. The application of adaptive signal processing to mobile telecommunication is researched in the paper, The basic algorithms for adaptive wireless signal processing, i.e. Least Mean Square(LMS),Sequence Regression(SER),Recursion Least Square(RLS) and Random Search(RS),etc. are mainly analyzed and the performance of these algorithms are compared in the paper. It is propitious to choice and amelioration of the adaptive algorithms for different surroundings and condition in reason.
Etching is a very important technique at MEMS micromachining. There are two kinds of etching processing, the one is wet etching and the other is dry etching. In this paper, wet selective etching with KOH and tetramethyl ammonium hydroxide (TMAH) etchants is researched in order to make a torsion mirror optical switch. The experiments results show that TMAH with superphosphate is more suitable at MEMS torsion mirror optical switch micromachining than KOH, and it also has good compatibility with IC processing. Also our experiments results show some different with other reported research data. More work will be done to improve the yield rate of MEMS optical switch.

Today wireless location is not only one of the ten hot telecommunication technologies, but also one of the important supporting technologies in the third generation mobile telecommunication. In the paper, the principle of TOA location and the essentiality of the measurement of signal time of arrival (TOA) for wireless location are pointed out first, then detection and estimation of time of arrival (TOA) of random signal is mainly expounded and the performance of signal estimation is assessed. So the theory basis is provided for research and development of wireless location in the third generation mobile telecommunication system.
