The high pressure air blowing ballast tanks are the most effective means of emergency to restore under flooded
submarine. As the process of blowing, the ballast compartment complexity of the flow of gas-liquid mixture, led to the
theoretical models have certain limitations. The paper simulates the dynamic process of high-pressure air blowing ballast
tanks by VOF two-phase flow model to analyze gas-liquid mixture phenomena, pressure changes, the ballast tank
drainage rate during the process of blowing ballast tank, which provides the basis to theoretical models for the
establishment of the high pressure air blowing ballast tanks.
