In digital virtual human project, image data acquires from the freezing slice of human body specimen. The color and
brightness between a group of images of a certain organ could be quite different. The quality of these images could bring
great difficulty in edge extraction, segmentation, as well as 3D reconstruction process. Thus it is necessary to unify the
color of the images. The color transfer algorithm is a good algorithm to deal with this kind of problem. This paper
introduces the principle of this algorithm and uses it in the medical image processing.
