Aiming at the problem that the theoretical research on the reinforcement method of deep soft soil foundation lags behind the engineering practice, based on the application example of vacuum combined surcharge preloading method in a project along the coast of Zhejiang Province, combined with the field measured data, this paper analyzes and summarizes the effect of vacuum combined surcharge preloading on the reinforcement of soft soil. The final results show that the vacuum combined preloading technology has improved the physical properties of the soil. It is feasible to apply this technology to strengthen the weak foundations in coastal areas, and the reinforcement effect is good, providing a reference for future large-area soft soil foundation reinforcement projects.
