Delong Zhang is a ZJU-100 Young Professor (tenure track) of the School of Physics at Zhejiang University, a Senior Member of Optica (formerly the Optical Society), and a Community Champion of SPIE. He gained his B.S. in USTC and Ph.D. degree at Purdue University, followed by postdoc appointments at Purdue University and Boston University, respectively. His research interests lie in molecular spectroscopic imaging and enabling techniques. Dr. Zhang has published dozens of research articles in journals such as Science Advances, Accounts of Chemical Research, Light: Science and Applications, three book chapters, and multiple patents, cited over 2,000 times. In addition, he was invited to present ten invited talks at international conferences and serves as an SPIE session chair, guest editor of scientific journals, and independent reviewer for many high-profile journals.
