Abstract
The paper considers the study of chirped optical signal application methods in perspective optical networks: RoF, PON and MAN categories. The principle of obtaining chirped optical pulses due to Mach-Zehnder chirping modulator control modes selection is proposed. A mathematical model is developed. It is shown that iterative selection of corrective chirp function is possible. The experimental approbation of the proposed principle is performed. It is also shown that the chirp function can be used to design all-optical network control devices.
