Abstract
The surface properties of the natural diamond cutting surface directly affect the processing or use of its subsequent order, but there is no complete and systematic evaluation method for the evaluation of surface properties. The natural diamond cutting surface with good surface quality was obtained by sawing, and the natural diamond cutting surface was detected and analyzed by using optical microscope, scanning electron microscope, roughness measuring instrument and X-ray diffractometer.Through the analysis and comparison of the detection results, the surface properties of the natural diamond cutting surface were evaluated from the angles of roughness, microcrystalline strain and interplanar spacing. Finally,a complete set of methods for evaluating the surface properties of natural diamond cutting surfaces was concluded.
