Abstract
In the airplane-missile borne bistatic SAR system, it is necessary to obtain the exact resolution expression in order to analyze the spatial resolution characteristics. The theoretical formula of resolution is derived by gradient theory and K-space theory. Especially for azimuth resolution, after researching the azimuth resolution influences by Doppler gradient changes within azimuth time, this article improves the calculation method of azimuth resolution, and do simulations and analysis on spatial azimuth resolution characteristics, thus verifying the correctness of the improved method.
