Abstract
In order to fully understand the operation of urban underground roads (UGRs) and ensure that the planning, construction and management of UGRs are more reasonable in Shanghai, according to the analysis of general characteristics and problems, the demand about UGRs’ operation perception and monitoring are analyzed. On this basis, combined with the practical experience of Beiheng Passageway and existing literatures, the perception and monitoring sensors and their deployment principle for UGRs are summarized.
