Abstract
The traditional magnetic fluid sealing is designed in accordance with the special environment (such as normal temperature), but the safety factor has always been set only through the experience of engineers and technicians, and there is no quantitative theoretical basis. The magnetic-liquid large-diameter, large-gap rotary seal device designed in this paper should be used in high-power motors. Taking into account the variability and complexity of its marine combat working environment, the design will fully consider the factors of the working environment to ensure sealing the parts meet the sealing requirements in a compact structure.
