Abstract
In 2020, the Chinese government set goals for carbon neutrality and carbon peaking. As one of the high-energy consuming industries, it plays an important role in energy conservation and emission reduction and sustainable development in China. This article focuses on logistics enterprises, governments, and consumers, and uses evolutionary game theory to construct an evolutionary game model. The decision behavior of the three parties in the sustainable development of the cold chain logistics industry is studied, and the evolution path and laws of the model are theoretically and numerically simulated. Research has found that from a cost-benefit perspective, when the government takes strong intervention and increases subsidies for sustainable development technologies in cold chain logistics, the cost of sustainable development for cold chain logistics enterprises decreases and the benefits increase. Consumers will choose environmentally friendly cold chain logistics services, resulting in synergistic benefits among the three parties, thereby promoting the formation and improvement of a mechanism for the government, cold chain logistics enterprises, and consumers to collaborate in implementing sustainable development of cold chain logistics.
