Abstract
Artificial intelligence (AI) chip, which is an important hardware of the digital intelligence field, determines the upper limited level of the intelligent development. Note that, the technological route of AI chip is of great significance to control the level of the technological development and future layout of AI chip. Therefore, our paper briefly analyzes the basic concepts of AI chip and constructs a knowledge system of AI chip based on the thesauruses in four development stages, which are preliminary, development, advance and future. The mining model of disruptive technology in the Foresight and Evaluation System for Technology (FEST) has been used to discover 126 technical topics and relevant papers with the disruptive potential in the AI chip field. Based on the above work, this paper can provide the urgent technical problems as well as the innovative and valuable solutions about the index optimization and the effective evaluation in the AI chip field.
