Abstract
Gears constitute vital moving components in mechanical transmission, boasting a broad spectrum of applications. The determination of gear detection parameters stands as a pivotal phase in gear design. Traditional methods often hinge on the lookup table approach, leading to the cumbersome acquisition of detection parameters and susceptibility to errors. To streamline this process, a MATLAB GUI software-based calculation system for gear detection parameters was developed. The system features four distinct interfaces for the independent calculation of commonly used gears. The operational methodology of executing the program through the executable (exe) file was elucidated. Results indicate that the system exhibits advantages such as a concise interface, user-friendly operation, and precise outcomes. This not only enhances the efficiency of gear design but also serves as a valuable reference for the development of calculation systems for other mechanical components.
