Abstract
Examining the state of research worldwide and current areas of interest in the field of cell-laden scaffold was the goal of this study. Using the pertinent keywords "cell-laden scaffolds," we searched the Web of Science Core Collection database and obtained the published literature from 2012 to 2024. Information was extracted about journal title, author details, institutional affiliation, nation, and keywords. The obtained data was then subjected to bibliometric analysis using Bibliometrix. China and the United States emerged as the most prolific countries in the field, contributing significantly to the research output. The journals that were most frequently utilized for publishing in this domain were Biofabrication, Acta Biomaterial, Advanced Healthcare Materials. Additionally, the current research landscape primarily focuses on tissue engineering, 3d/4d bioprinting, and gelama, indicating their significance as emerging research hotspots. Cell-laden scaffolds hold significant potential in biomedical engineering as the seeded cells were embedded into while the scaffolds were fabricated and offer promising avenues for further research.
