2 December 1992 Multichannel acousto-optic receiver for microwave signal analysis

Abstract
Multi-channel acousto-optic processors have been proposed for analysis of microwave signal waveforms. Such architecture provides the added signal processing power for future microwave environments. Frequency range up to 100 GHz may be processed using a wedged Fabry-Perot cavity as channelizer and subsequently a time integrating spectrum analyzer. Modulation parameters of complex modulated waveforms may be analyzed by means of a multi-channel CAF processor. Potential capability and developmental needs are described.
