The referenceless hologram (RH) was first introduced by Van Heerden. Following Van Heerden, we consider here a referenceless hologram in terms of a correlation filter. The holographed object is assumed to be a statistical, amplitude-phase object with the phase dispersion larger than a - 2...x to ensure minimum distortions of an image reconstructed from a RH.
