Abstract
For ATLID, a filter featuring a narrow transmission band of less than 0.2 nm and a high transmission of greater than 50% is required. The Fabry-Perot etalon is a possible variant to achieve these specifications. The present paper will analyse how the required specifications are met by means of a birefringent filter.
