Abstract
Traditional multiplex hologram (MH) suffers from the problem of picket-fence effect. Image-plane MH can alleviate this problem. However, some viewing-distance dependent dark lines still appear on the image. With astigmatic recording reference wave, the astigmatic effect of the image wave can be corrected, which consequently eliminates these dark lines on the image.
