Abstract
The first experimental results, to our knowledge, for the wavelength dependence of the electro-optic (EO) coefficients of a poled polymer film containing photochromic dyes are presented. The method used for measurement is based on the attenuated-total-reflection (ATR) technique. Initial results show that the electro-optic coefficients near absorption band decreases with the increases of light wavelength.
