Abstract
We present here a theoretical study on the modifications of the Bragg grating response induced by the absorption of the U.V. light, when the grating is written in a 2x2 symmetric fused fiber coupler. In this particular case of a complex structure the direction of irradiation is very important as shown by wavelength response curves.
