Abstract
A comparative study has been carried out of standard conversion to 50 Hz, starting from 60 Hz, 80 Hz HDTV-signals and a superinterlaced system (15:1) with 600 Hz field rate. The limits of field rate conversion without motion compensation caused by the sampling theorem are investigated.
