Abstract
Harmonic and reactive current as reference template are extracted by active power filter through effective algorithm of detection current. Inverter is controlled and droved to produce compensation currents that trace reference template real-timely in order to purify the power system. Recently, direct current (DC) component that is transformed by active current of fundamental frequency is extracted, using low pass filter (LPF) in prevailing algorithm of detection current. However, the parameters of analog LPF are sensitive to environmental temperature, parameter floating is easy to occur, which is leading up to deviations of compensation. Higher precision needs higher orders, whereas it is difficult to realize higher orders for analog LPF. It is present that analog LPF is replaced by the adaptive algorithm of digital recursive least squares (RLS) scheme in this paper. The result of simulation indicates that it is flexible, stable and response quick for digital RLS adaptive filter to improve compensation ratio of polluted current in power system.
