In this work, design, implementation and test of a system intended for positioning of the elements of
turbine units relative to the line of shaft with high precision, are discussed. A procedure of the
conversion of coordinates from the instrument system into the system connected with the practical
position of the axis of turbine has been devised. It is shown that optoelectronic systems of aligment built
by autoreflexive scheme can be used for high precision measurements.
