Abstract
Basing on numerical calculations carried-out for a simple physical model of the CO, laser, were determined and experimentally checked the optimum ranges of the baser paraneters defining about the applicative properties of the pyrex waveguide CO2 lasers. The optimum, from the point of view of the gain and the generation properties of the active medium, values of parameters were determined. The certain hierarchy of parameters was also determined for those of them which decide about the range of the frequency tuning for a non-dispersive waveguide laser resonator.
