Abstract
X-ray tube spectra are obtained using Oroglas materials as scatterers. The measured spectra are corrected for detector efficiency and Compton effect. The relative intensities of the elements in alloys are measured and calculated. The consistency of the experimental results and the theoretical values confirmed the validity of the corrected spectra, indicating that the method introduced in this letter is a simple and valid way of obtaining the X-ray tube spectra for quantitative analysis of X-ray fluorescence analysis.
