Abstract
In this chapter, we generate scalar field realizations in the frequency ω domain. We assume that the field is wide-sense stationary (WSS) and omit the ω dependence of quantities, such as the CSD function, spectral density, and spectral degree of coherence (SDoC), for brevity. The generation of pulsed optical field realizations is discussed in Chapter 6.
