Abstract
Interest in nonlinear organic materials has been wide because these materials have large optical nonlinearities and quick response times. Polymeric materials are among the most promising organic materials for use in electrooptical applications. We discuss here the advantages of these materials and development of spatial light modulators (SLMs) using them.
