Profile Summary

Alain Sei received his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Paris-Dauphine University, Paris, France, in 1991. In 1993, he joined Rice University in Houston, Texas as a Research Scientist working on wave-propagation problems applied to seismology. In 1995, he joined the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, California as an Applied Mathematics Postdoctoral Fellow and worked on numerical methods for electromagnetic scattering. In 1998, he joined Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems, where he is a Senior Staff Engineer and a Subject Matter Expert on remote-sensing algorithms.
