Topological insulator is a new material with unique quantum mechanical properties, which is insulating in the bulk energy state and metallic in the surface state. It can realize the high-speed transport of electrons without energy consumption, and it has good application prospect in electronics. In this paper, the quantitative and qualitative method based on different data analysis models is used to for topological insulator analysis. Firstly, the multi-source heterogeneous data analysis method is used to mine and analyze topological insulator from varied dimensional data. The analyzed elements are included by material preparation, theoretical verification, structural control, device and extended application. Secondly, bibliometric and patent analysis tools such as Citespace and Innography are used for quantitative analysis of topological insulator. The elements include technology timing, research hotspots, institution distribution and research team. Finally, expert evaluation method is used to analyze future trend and application prospects of topological insulator. The mining and analysis model will provide good value for evaluation and prospect of cutting-edge technologies, as well as future research.
