EDUCATION
Ph.D. in Electrical & Computer Engineering, Michigan State University, USA July 2022
M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, South Dakota State University, USA July 2017
B. Sc in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, KUET, Khulna, Bangladesh July 2012
WORK EXPERIENCES
Graduate Research Assistant, Michigan State University January 2018-present
Demonstrated the constant temperature (CT) operation of a fiber-optic anemometer for the first time
• an improvement in the response time more than 300 times
• 3-dB bandwidth was increased from 0.5 Hz for CP operation to 2 kHz for CT operation
Demonstrated the method of directivity reduction of a fiber-optic water flow sensor
• directivity reduced to 4% at a speed of ~1.4 ms-1 in comparison to the 44% for the original sensor.
Demonstrated the temperature compensation of the fiber-optic water flow sensor based on silicon Fabry-Perot cavity
Performance Improvement of the fiber-optic bolometer based on a high-finesse silicon Fabry-Pérot interferometer
• response time was decreased to 150ms from 400 ms
• fabricated the gold disk with the designed mask
Graduate Research Assistant, South Dakota State University August 2015-July 2017
